Swan Neck Gouge

9″ (23.0 cm) Swan Neck Gouge is an instrument designed for gouging or removing particular sections of bone. Additionally it can also be used as a chisel with increased force applied to it to split bone or to scoop out segments to increase access to the center. A unique feature of this particular gouge is the swan shaped curvature that allows it to access difficult to reach areas without obscuring the surgical field and keeping the handle out the plane of surgery.
