It features a sharp bone hook that allows it to effectively grip bones and move them into the desired position. Additionally the shape of this instrument lends it to use in retraction of bone and other hard tissue surfaces to increase access to the surgical field. This hook is available with a phenolic handle or stainless steel t-handle making it able to satisfy and surgeon preference.
